Cegeka Deutschland GmbH in Belgium seeks a technically driven professional to manage and optimise data centre infrastructure, including electricity, HVAC, fire safety and security.

You will coordinate initiated projects, monitor budgets and risks, oversee maintenance activities and provide hands-on technical support for the existing facility while collaborating with external partners. You work at least two days per week from the datacenter and perform on-call duties. Fluent in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Industrial Sciences: Electromechanics.
• At least five years of experience, preferably within a data center environment.
• Experience with electricity, HVAC, fire safety, security or project management is essential.
• Interests lie in technical project management and theoretical analysis.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate initiated projects, monitor and evaluate external parties involved in these projects
• Prepare and manage documentation related to the specifications of technical installations
• Oversee and optimise maintenance activities to ensure the correct operation of technical installations
• Coordinate and carry out technical support tasks related to the existing infrastructure
• Manage technical procedures and standard solutions within Global Operations, in line with applicable norms, standards, and procedures
• Monitor the progress, budget, quality, risks, and communication of the projects entrusted to you
• Perform in‑depth analyses of electrical, HVAC and security installations
• Participate in an on‑call duty (approximately 10 weeks per year)

What you need to succeed:

• You hold a Master of Science in Industrial Sciences: Electromechanics
• You have at least five years of experience, preferably within a data center environment
• Experience with electricity, HVAC, fire safety, security and/or project management is essential
• Your interests lie in both technical project management and theoretical analysis
• You are eager to learn, have a passion for technology and closely follow developments within your field of expertise
• You have strong communication skills and you are flexible and pragmatic
• You combine an innovative mindset with a strong team spirit
• You work at least two days per week from our datacenter in Hasselt (Universiteitslaan), combined with remote work
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
