Job summary

Engibex, a Belgium-based engineering and R&D consultancy, is seeking a Business Developer to grow its client portfolio and link clients' needs with our engineering talent. You will prospect new opportunities, build long-term relationships, negotiate terms, and collaborate with the recruitment team to place consultants on projects.

Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch, you are results-driven and resilient.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of experience in a commercial or business development role.
• Proven experience in prospection / lead generation.
• Experience in the engineering sector is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English and fluent in French and/or Dutch.
• Result-driven, persistent, and comfortable with rejection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomous, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and identify new potential clients (cold calling, emailing, networking, events)
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with your client portfolio
• Understand clients' technical needs and translate them into concrete staffing opportunities
• Negotiate commercial terms and close deals
• Work closely with the recruitment team to match the right consultants with the right projects
• Monitor your market, competitors, and industry trends
• Track and report on your commercial activity and results
