Engibex, an engineering and R&D consultancy in Belgium, is seeking a Business Developer to drive commercial growth and expand the client portfolio. You identify opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and translate needs into staffing solutions with the recruitment team.

You will negotiate terms, monitor market trends, and report on results while growing within a fast-paced, supportive team. Fluency in English plus French and/or Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in a commercial or business development role.
• Proven experience in prospection / lead generation.
• Experience in the engineering sector is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English and fluent in French and/or Dutch.
• Result-driven, persistent, and comfortable with rejection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomous, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsabilités

• Prospect and identify new potential clients (cold calling, emailing, networking, events).
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with your client portfolio.
• Understand clients' technical needs and translate them into concrete staffing opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
• Work closely with the recruitment team to match the right consultants with the right projects.
• Monitor your market, competitors, and industry trends.
• Track and report on your commercial activity and results.
