Engibex, a Belgium-based engineering and R&D consultancy, seeks a Business Developer to drive commercial growth by identifying opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and linking client needs with our engineering expertise.

You will prospect new clients, nurture the portfolio, translate technical needs into staffing opportunities, negotiate terms, and collaborate with recruitment to place the right consultants on projects while monitoring market trends.

Qualifications

1 to 4 years of experience in a commercial or business development role.
Proven experience in prospection / lead generation.
Experience in the engineering sector is a strong plus.
Fluent in English and fluent in French and/or Dutch.
Result-driven, persistent, and comfortable with rejection.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Autonomous, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsabilités

Prospect and identify new potential clients (cold calling, emailing, networking, events)
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with your client portfolio
Understand clients' technical needs and translate them into concrete staffing opportunities
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals
Work closely with the recruitment team to match the right consultants with the right projects
Monitor your market, competitors, and industry trends
Track and report on your commercial activity and results
