Engibex, a Belgium-based engineering and R&D consultancy, is seeking a Business Developer to drive commercial growth, identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and translate needs into staffing solutions. You will collaborate with recruitment, monitor market trends, and close deals.

Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch, with 1–4 years of relevant experience, you thrive in a fast-growing team and enjoy learning and success.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years in a commercial or business development role.
• Proven experience in prospection / lead generation.
• Experience in the engineering sector is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English; fluent in French and/or Dutch.
• Result-driven, persistent, and comfortable with rejection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomous, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsabilités

• Prospect and identify new potential clients (cold calling, emailing, networking, events).
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with your client portfolio.
• Understand clients' technical needs and translate them into concrete staffing opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
• Work closely with the recruitment team to match the right consultants with the right projects.
• Monitor your market, competitors, and industry trends.
• Track and report on your commercial activity and results.
