Job summary

Brevco Services in Belgium is seeking a Cloud Engineer to administer enterprise cloud environments (Azure or AWS) and provide Level 2/3 support for cloud issues. You will provision and maintain VMs and hosting environments, and automate deployments with Terraform and scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

The role requires strong English communication, team collaboration, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team focused on high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Web Hosting solutions on prem and on cloud (SharePoint, Apache, Oracle Web Logic).
• Experience with Amazon AWS cloud and Azure environments (IaaS and PaaS).
• Experience with Azure VMs, virtual networks, Load Balancers and Azure Monitor.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills (within past 5 years).
• Excellent communication skills to interact with users, team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Motivated, good communication skills, team player.
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure enterprise-wide cloud environments (MS Azure or AWS).
• Provide Level 2/3 support for cloud-related issues, investigating and resolving problems promptly.
• Provision and maintain VMs, storage, and web hosting environments (on prem and on cloud).
• Manage and optimize cloud components and web hosting environment.
• Automate deployment and management of AWS or Azure resources using Terraform or similar tools.
• Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks such as instance management, backups, and scaling.
• Perform other duties as required.
