Job summary

EMW in Belgium is seeking an Engineer (Cloud and Databases) to administer and configure enterprise cloud environments (Azure or AWS) and provide Level 2/3 support for cloud issues, ensuring high availability and performance. The role covers provisioning and maintaining VMs, storage, and databases both on-prem and in the cloud, plus automating deployments with Terraform.

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) are required, as are excellent English communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and databases on cloud and on-prem.
• Experience with database management systems (MS SQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) in cloud and on-prem.
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization.
• NATO Secret security clearance.

Duties and Role

• Administer, configure enterprise-wide cloud environments (MS Azure or AWS)

• Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).

Professional Qualifications
