Brevco Services in Belgium is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise cloud environments (Azure or AWS). You will provide Level 2/3 support for cloud issues and ensure high availability of VMs, storage and databases.

We value strong DevOps practices, scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell), Terraform, and solid English communication. You will collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

Formación

• Sound experience with Database management systems (like MS SQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) on Cloud and on premisses (Mandatory)
• Sound experience with AWS and Azure environments (IaaS and PaaS services) (Mandatory)
• Experience with VMs, storage accounts, virtual networks and monitoring tools on Cloud (Mandatory)
• Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) (Mandatory)
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus) (Mandatory)
• Must have excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years) (Mandatory)
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with users, team members and stakeholders (Mandatory)
• Must demonstrate the ability and self-motivation to work on his/her own but must also work well within groups as part of a team (Mandatory)
• Must demonstrate an ability and keen sense for problem-solving (Mandatory)
• Motivated, good communication skills, team player (Mandatory)

Responsabilidades

• Administer, configure enterprise-wide cloud environments (MS Azure or AWS)
• Provide Level 2/3 support for cloud related issues, investigating and resolving operational problems in a timely manner
• Provision and maintain VMs, storage on cloud and databases on prem and on cloud, ensuring high availability and performance
• Manage and optimize cloud components
• Automate the deployment and management of AWS or Azure resources using Terraform, or similar tools
• Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks, such as instance management, backups, and scaling
• Perform other duties, as may be required
