Job summary

EMW, Inc. in Belgium seeks an Engineer (Cloud and Web) to administer and optimize enterprise cloud environments (Azure or AWS) on-site in Braine-l'Alleud. The role requires NATO SECRET clearance and strong English communication skills.

You will implement and support cloud and web hosting solutions, automate deployments with Terraform, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure high availability and security. This is a 350-hour contract starting December 14, 2026, ending December 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Experience with web hosting solutions (SharePoint, Apache, Oracle WebLogic).
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments (IaaS/PaaS).
• Knowledge of Azure VMs, networks, Load Balancers, and monitoring.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.

Duties & Role:

• Administer, configure enterprise-wide cloud environments (MS Azure or AWS)
• Provide Level 2/3 support for cloud related issues, investigating and resolving operational problems in a timely manner.
• Provision and maintain VMs, Storage (on cloud), and Web Hosting environments (on prem and on cloud) ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage and optimize cloud components and web hosting environment.
• Automate the deployment and management of AWS or Azure resources using Terraform, or similar tools.
• Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks, such as instance management, backups, and scaling
• Perform other duties, as may be required.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Experience with Web Hosting solutions (like SharePoint, Apache, Oracle Web Logic) on prem and on cloud.
• Experience with Amazon AWS cloud Azure environments (IaaS and PaaS services).
• Experience with Azure VMs, virtual networks, Load Balancers and Azure monitor
• Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Must have excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years);
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with users, team members and stakeholders
• Must demonstrate the ability and self-motivation to work on his/her own but must also work well within groups as part of a team;
• Must demonstrate an ability and keen sense for problem-solving.
