Job summary

Bridgestone EMEA in Brussels region seeks an experienced EMEA Retail Financial Controller to safeguard financial reporting accuracy across the retail business. You will work with regional teams and corporate finance to ensure IFRS compliance and drive financial analysis.

You will coordinate month-end close, audits, and internal controls while partnering on budgeting and strategic planning. Strong Excel, ERP experience and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in multinational and multi-entity contexts.
• Experience in financial controlling, statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance and internal controls.
• Experience in decentralised, large matrix organisations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate month-end close across retail entities and analyse financial information (management accounts, variances, KPIs).
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and IFRS compliance, including lease accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate external/internal audits and strengthen internal controls.
• Partner with regional finance teams, SSC, Tax, Treasury, FP&A on reporting and fiscal requirements.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning with financial insights.
