Tenos is seeking a Freelance Financial Controller in the Brussels region to temporarily strengthen the Finance department. You will report directly to the CFO and ensure reliable financial reporting while optimizing the controlling cycle and advising management on risks and opportunities.

Your responsibilities include profitability analyses, transfer pricing, monthly/quarterly/annual closings, budgeting and forecasting, and coordinating audits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience as a (Financial) Controller.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. AFAS, Exact, SAP, D365) and building KPI dashboards in Power BI/Excel.
• Dutch-speaking, with a good command of French and English.

For an established organisation, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Financial Controller to temporarily strengthen the Finance department. In this role, you will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for the reliability of financial reporting and the optimisation of the controlling cycle. You will dive deep into the data, identify deviations and advise management on opportunities and risks.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform profitability, cost and investment analyses.

Your profile:

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills combined with a hands‑on mentality.
• Strong communication skills, independence and a results-oriented mindset.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. AFAS, Exact, SAP, D365) and building KPI dashboards in Power BI/Excel.
• Dutch-speaking, with a good command of French and English.
