Tenos in Belgium is seeking a Freelance Financial Controller for the Brussels region to reinforce the Finance team on a 6-month assignment. You will report to the CFO, manage monthly closings, profitability analyses and reporting, and optimise controlling processes while ensuring data accuracy.

You bring a degree in Economics or Finance, experience as a controller in industrial settings, strong analytical and communication skills, and hands-on ERP experience (AFAS, Exact, SAP, D365) plus KPI

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance or related field.
• Relevant experience as a (Financial) Controller.
• Industrial or manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on mindset.
• Excellent communication, independence and results orientation.
• Experience with ERP systems and KPI dashboards in Power BI/Excel.
• Dutch-speaking with good French and English.

Responsabilités

• Perform profitability, cost and investment analyses.
• Manage transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
• Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and liquidity forecasts.
• Identify deviations and advise management.
• Optimise and automate financial processes.
• Prepare annual accounts and coordinate the audit.
• Set up and professionalise reporting and controlling processes.
• Perform analyses to support strategic decision-making.
