Job summary

Finatal partners with an international manufacturing group to hire a Financial Controller for its Belgian operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to combine strong financial control with direct exposure to operational decision-making and European finance leadership.

You will own accounting, month-end close and reporting; deliver Belgian statutory, VAT and tax compliance; oversee shared service delivery; turn financial analysis into actionable insights for local management; strengthen controls

Qualifications

• Strong financial controlling and GL accounting experience.
• Confident with Belgian GAAP, VAT and statutory requirements.
• Experience working with shared service centres.
• Proactive, analytical and comfortable challenging performance.
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or French highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Deliver Belgian statutory, VAT and tax compliance.
• Oversee shared service delivery, intercompany accounting and cash forecasting.
• Turn financial analysis into actionable insights for local management.
• Strengthen controls, lead audit coordination and improve processes.
