Brightsmith is seeking an experienced Electrical QA Engineer for a Belgium-based, 12-month contract project. You will oversee QA activities from installation through handover, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and standards while maintaining top health and safety across all sites.

The role requires delivering QA/QC across major electrical packages, coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders, and supporting commissioning and handover activities to achieve project

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering electrical QA/QC on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in Electrical QA, QA/QC Engineer, or Electrical Inspector roles.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation standards, inspection processes and quality documentation.

Responsabilités

• Manage and coordinate all electrical QA activities from installation through to handover.
• Ensure the highest standards of health and safety across work areas.
• Oversee quality control processes, inspections, and project documentation.
• Carry out inspections to verify electrical installations comply with project specifications, drawings and standards.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and coordinate quality activities with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Manage subcontractor quality performance and ensure timely close-out of non-conformances and punch lists.
• Lead weekly quality coordination meetings with subcontractors.
• Support commissioning activities and final project handover documentation.

Hours: 45 Hours Per Week

Brightsmith is supporting a major construction project in Belgium and is seeking an experienced Electrical QA Engineer to oversee the quality assurance of electrical installation works on a large-scale project. This freelance opportunity is suited to professionals with strong QA/QC experience, a proven track record of coordinating inspections and quality processes, and the ability to drive quality, safety, and compliance performance on site.

Working closely with project leadership, you will take ownership of day-to-day electrical quality activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications, industry standards, and project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to manage multiple site activities within a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Data Centre experience.
• Experience working on international construction projects.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, inspections, testing, and project handover requirements.
