Job summary

DT Mühendislik ve Taahhüt A.Ş. in Brussels seeks an experienced MEP Draftsman/Designer to drive execution of HVAC, electrical and sanitary works for a 19,000 m² mixed-use development.

The role focuses on 2D AutoCAD drawings, coordination of HVAC, electrical and sanitary services, and development of CSDs. Freelance or temporary contract with potential extension. International project environment and strong ownership expectations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in MEP drafting, preferably on building renovation projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP technical drawings.
• Experience working in coordinated multi-discipline environments.
• Professional fluency in French and English.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM is a strong plus for future projects.

Responsibilities

• Shop drawing production: Produce all 2D execution drawings for HVAC, Electrical and Sanitary systems.
• Combined Services Drawings (CSD): Develop CSDs for multidisciplinary coordination.
• Manual coordination: Detect and resolve clashes between trades by overlaying 2D AutoCAD layers.
• As-built documentation: Keep 2D plans updated in real time, so the final dossier is complete for provisional acceptance.
• Engineering support: Assist engineers with technical detailing and drawing updates.
• Quality control: Ensure consistency and accuracy across all MEP documentation.

We are looking for an experienced MEP Draftsman / Designer to drive the successful execution of all electrical works for a prestigious 19,000 m² mixed-use development, combining hotel, residential, office and commercial facilities.

This is a unique opportunity to join a technically challenging project, work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, and play a key role in transforming design concepts into reality.

The Project

• Freelance or temporary employment (with a strong possibility of extension based on future project opportunities)

The MEP Draftsman / Designer produces accurate execution drawings across HVAC, Electrical and Sanitary systems. The role ensures coordinated, clash-free documentation and supports the engineering teams throughout the design and execution phases of a complex renovation environment. As the MEP Draftsman / Designer, you are the technical heart of the project. The site works in AutoCAD 2D, so you need excellent spatial awareness to coordinate HVAC, electrical and sanitary services within the constraints of the existing structure.
