Job summary

Ball Corporation in Genk is seeking a Safety Advisor to support the EHS Manager, ensuring environmental, health and safety compliance and safeguarding workers. You will guide management on EHS and FSPP issues, manage daily EHS risks, and help coordinate safety activity at the plant.

The role requires 2–3 years in safety, Level I/II Prevention Advisor certification, and fluent English and Dutch. On-site work in Genk with a competitive salary and extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Safety Advisor.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for psychosocial, occupational hygiene, ergonomics, and occupational medicine service personnel.
• Assist in hazard identification and advise on preventive measures.
• Provide training to foster a stable safety culture.
• Advise on PPE purchases and workplace layouts.
• Draft and maintain the Annual Action Plan and Global Prevention Plan; document and report accidents.
• Investigate workstation hazards and document findings thoroughly.
• Organize medical examinations in collaboration with external service.
