Unique Menen is in de Wevelgem-regio op zoek naar een ervaren EHS Manager die verantwoordelijk wordt voor de implementatie en administratie van gezondheids-, veiligheids- en milieubeleid. U beheert audits, training en naleving en werkt aan een zero-incident cultuur.

De rol vereist sterke analytische vaardigheden, uitstekende communicatieve en presentatieve competenties en ervaring met MS Office. Automotive-ervaring is een meerwaarde en u rapporteert aan de operationele leiding.

Qualifications

• Universitair/ professionele opleiding in Environment, Health & Safety.
• 3–5 jaar relevante ervaring in EHS.
• Autopass ervaring is een plus.
• Kennis van lokale en corporate regelgeving voor veiligheid, gezondheidsbescherming en milieu.
• Uitstekende communicatievaardigheden.
• Sterke analytische vaardigheden en rapportage van tendensen.
• Goede presentaties- en trainingsvaardigheden.
• Vaardigheid in MS Office-programma's.

Responsabilités

• Zorg voor naleving en verbetering van EHS-conformiteit met interne/extern wettelijke vereisten, incl. audits.
• Starten en uitvoeren van trainingen om EHS-bewustzijn te vergroten en correcte rapportage in Safeguard-systeem.
• Zorg dat regelgeving gevolgd wordt en organiseer regelmatige overleggen met het juiste team.
• Beoordeling en goedkeuring van nieuw uitrusting met betrekking tot EHS.
• Leiden van een veiligheidsgerichte cultuur met zero-incidenten.
• Vervullen van toegewezen sleutel- en back-up rollen wanneer gevraagd.

EHS manager

Unique is looking for an EHS Manager for a company in the Wevelgem region.

As an EHS Manager you will lead the implementation and administration of established health, safety and environmental policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs.

What will you have to do?

• Ensure, verify and improve EHS compliance with internal and external requirements including a system of regular audits; closely monitor new statutory regulations or requirements from Corporate.
• Initiate and conduct training activities to enhance EHS awareness and ensure correct reporting in Safeguard system
• Ensure legal requirements are being followed and regular meetings are conducted with the appropriate team
• Review and approval of new equipment regarding EHS
• Leading a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensure and monitor work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business
• Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business

Profiel

• College Degree and professional designation in the area of Environment, Health & Safety
• 3-5 years of proven related professional experience
• Automotive experience is a plus
• Extensive knowledge of local & Corporate regulations related to safety, health and environment in order to develop & implement & maintain measures of complianceDemonstracte extensive knowledge of safe work behavior and habitsExcellent communication skills
