Based in London, Brussels, or the Netherlands, the role offers a 3-day-per-week hybrid schedule. Initially fixed-term with strong potential for permanent alignment within a leading editorial operation.

Qualifications

• Native-level mastery of Dutch (C2) with business etiquette.
• Proven expertise in LQA and MTPE for translation quality.
• Technical proficiency with CAT tools and terminology databases.
• Specialist command of financial terminology for English-to-Dutch translation.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI and LLMs, plus prompt engineering basics.
• Background in fast-paced newsrooms or editorial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead translation quality work from English to Dutch for Dow Jones Newswires.
• Define correction policies to meet Dow Jones editorial standards.
• Build and maintain glossaries with accurate financial terminology.
• Engineer prompts to improve style, tone, and accuracy of automated feeds.
• Collaborate with Product, Editorial, and Data teams to improve workflows.
• Map third-party content to enrich Dutch-language market coverage.
• Modernize content generation by refining automated templates for real-time updates.
