Job summary

Sword Technologies N.V./S.A. in Brussels is seeking a freelance Digital Content and Web Publishing Coordinator for a temporary mission from 04/01 to 30/06. You will manage content submissions, edit in English, and ensure quality in the digital exhibition.

You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, review multimedia assets, ensure copyright compliance, and upload content in the CMS to deliver a coherent, user-friendly digital experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating digital content, editorial support or online communication.
• Excellent drafting, editing and rewriting in English to institutional standards.
• Strong stakeholder coordination in a complex institutional environment.
• Good understanding of multimedia content selection and copyright requirements.
• Proficient with CMS and digital publishing tools, plus Excel mastery.
• Quality control, testing and usability checks for digital products.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and implementation of the Global Gateway digital experience.
• Liaise with DG colleagues, EU services and external partners for content submissions.
• Receive, register, review and screen texts, photos, videos and assets.
• Rewrite and edit texts in English per editorial guidelines and project needs.
• Organise, structure and upload content in CMS with proper categorisation.
• Perform quality control and usability testing of the final product.
