Overview

Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese company and leader in HVAC-R solutions. DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The head office has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.

The vacancy is in the Business Analytics Department.

Function

• You will be involved in SAP roll-outs at our daughter companies. You will propose and implement changes to improve the controlling function within our group.
• You will promote and support process improvement and standardization initiatives in the area of controlling and profitability analysis across Daikin Europe HQ and Entities.
• You will discuss changes requested by the business and translate these, together with the IT Center, into SAP/PowerBI solutions.
• You will be involved in the roll-out of Sales & Service software package at our daughter companies. During these projects, you will mainly focus on the interface with SAP for controlling functionalities, as well as the reporting track in PowerBI.
• You work together with a wide range of stakeholders with different requirements; you are able to set priorities, manage expectations and communicate accordingly. Your ideas on how to further improve our setup will add value.

Your profile

• You have a Master’s degree in business economics, finance or controlling.
• You already have extensive experience in a similar role as controller or SAP key-user, or extensive experience in an analytical position.
• You have user experience of SAP modules SD, FI and CO.
• You are prepared to travel abroad (15% of your time) and/or to the Oostkamp office (Accounting & IT) if projects or meetings require this.
• You work accurately and have the ability to dig into details without losing the helicopter view.
• You possess excellent analytical skills and demonstrable good communication skills.
• You are a team player but you’re also able to work independently.
• You are result-driven with a strong focus on improvements.
