dataroots, a Talan company, is seeking a Sales Director to shape commercial strategy, open doors, build partnerships and close deals in the data and AI space. You’ll work with our technical specialists to translate client challenges into valuable solutions and grow key accounts.

You will lead the sales team, drive marketing initiatives and co-develop client proposals with the solutions team, expanding our presence in Belgium and beyond.

• Proven track record in business development within the data and AI industry.

• Lead, coach and manage a team of sales professionals, setting clear targets and supporting their growth and performance.
• Generate new leads and business opportunities by leveraging your extensive network.
• Develop and execute market strategies to drive business growth in data and AI.
• Manage complex sales cycles and high-value negotiations.
• Drive marketing and visibility efforts, steering the marketing officer and shaping the local communication plan.
• Represent dataroots at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Co-develop client proposals with the solutions team, aligning sales strategies with technical capabilities.
• Co-develop partnerships and go-to-market approaches with the Partnerships Lead.
• Proactively manage key client accounts and nurture relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers.
