EMW in Mons, Belgium, seeks a Technician (Cyber Security) to join a 100% on-site team. You will perform Information Assurance incident management, 24/7 helpdesk service, and manage cryptographic security, PKI, and secure systems for NATO-related networks.

Start date 9 November 2026; contract through 31 December 2026, with NATO SECRET clearance required. Responsibilities include monitoring, incident response, and liaison with NATO CIS authorities.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Experience in Information Systems Engineering and Maintenance – Information Security Implementation Computer Security.
• Familiar with detailed NATO standards for CRYPTO operation and equipment;
• Experience in development and implementation of computer security policies.
• Experience in evaluation and accreditation of telecommunications and information systems.
• Experience in security requirements analysis.
• Hold IT security qualifications: CCNA; ITIL foundation; TCE 621/671;
• Linux OS knowledge.
• Knowledge of PKI technology and crypto systems.
• Networking concepts and Windows admin.
• Telecoms data comms equipment knowledge.
• NATO crypto security policies understanding.
• Broad knowledge of cyber security principles and vulnerabilities;
• Experience in risk analysis and protective measures;
• Advanced troubleshooting for network/system/app layers.

Responsabilités

• Information Assurance incident management.
• 24/7 helpdesk service management.
• Manage Secure Management Centre (SMC): keys, access control, security monitoring.
• Manage NATO Wide PKI user profiles and certificates and CA certificates.
• Provide technical support to NATO CIS authorities and National MODs.
• Cyber Security 24/7 watch-keeping duties incl. advisories from CERTs.
• Liaise with CERTs; assist NATO CIS authorities on intrusion & response.
• Monitor Internet email and web sites for policy compliance and security checks.
• Centralized online Vulnerability Assessment of remote networks and interfaces.
• Coordinate incident reporting and remediation activities.
