Vector Synergy is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Mons, Belgium. You will develop and maintain security solution architectures, implement and validate security settings across Linux, Windows, Cisco and Juniper environments, and contribute to protecting NATO-related networks.

The role requires at least 5 years in cyber security, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a strong track record in risk management, monitoring, incident response, and forensics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years post-degree experience, or 10 years equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years practical experience in cyber security.
• Extensive knowledge of cyber security principles, tools, IAM, monitoring, incident response, vulnerability assessment, forensics, and risk management.
• Desirable: experience with military or governmental organizations.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure and test firewalls, routers, switches, network proxies and VPN concentrators per NCIA requirements.
• Implement and validate security settings across Cisco, Juniper, Linux, Unix and Windows environments.
• Assess network performance, security and availability through monitoring and troubleshooting.
