EMW, working within the NATO Cyber Security Centre framework, seeks a First Line Security Event Analyst to perform initial analysis of logs and network traffic. You will determine alert severity, escalate as needed, and provide structured findings with remediation recommendations.

Responsibilities include handling firewall/NIDS events, using SIEM tools, and supporting end-to-end incident response to enhance NATO's cyber security posture. This is a 100% on-site role in Mons, Belgium.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET clearance is required.
• A university degree in IT or related field, or 3+ years of cyber security analysis experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows and Linux systems, and security principles.

Responsabilités

• Perform initial analysis of logs and network traffic to determine alert severity.
• Collate information and present findings with remediation recommendations.
• Support end-to-end incident handling and escalation when required.
• Leverage SIEM, NIDS, and packet capture tools to enhance investigations.
• Propose optimisations to improve NATO cyber security posture.
