Job summary

Wlgroup seeks an engineer to manage enterprise cloud environments in Azure or AWS and to support databases both in the cloud and on premises. You will provision VMs, storage and databases, ensure high availability, and automate deployments with Terraform.

Strong scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell and solid monitoring skills are essential. The role requires hands-on experience with MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL, plus AWS/Azure IaaS and PaaS, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL, in the cloud and on premises.
• Solid experience with AWS and Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• VMs, storage accounts, virtual networks and cloud monitoring.
• DevOps practice, including CI/CD.
• Monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK or Prometheus.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Administering and configuring enterprise cloud environments in Azure or AWS
• Handling level 2 and 3 support for cloud issues and fixing them quickly
• Provisioning VMs, storage and databases, on premises and in the cloud, with high availability
• Automating cloud deployments with Terraform or similar tools
• Writing Python, Bash or PowerShell scripts for backups, scaling and routine tasks
• Tuning and optimising cloud components
