Job summary

WLG in Belgium is seeking an engineer comfortable with Azure and AWS, databases, and on-premises systems to keep critical cloud services running.

You will automate deployments with Terraform, write scripts in Python/Bash/PowerShell, and provide L2/L3 support to ensure uptime and performance across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Solid databases experience: MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• DevOps practices including CI/CD.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

What you would bring

• Solid experience with MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL, in the cloud and on premises
• Solid experience with AWS and Azure IaaS and PaaS services
• VMs, storage accounts, virtual networks and cloud monitoring
• DevOps practice, including CI/CD
• Monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK or Prometheus
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Comfortable working alone and in a team, with a real knack for problem-solving
