Xintas in Belgium is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to a cloud-based data platform on Microsoft Azure. You will help ensure data is reliable, accessible, and usable for reporting, analytics, and AI applications.

You will develop data solutions, build pipelines and data warehouses, and collaborate with internal teams and partners in agile projects. A 3–5 year background in Data or Cloud Engineering and Azure knowledge are required; Databricks and Terraform are strong assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in IT or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in Data or Cloud Engineering.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and modern data platforms.
• Experience with Python, Git/GitHub, and Terraform.
• Databricks experience is a strong advantage.
• dbt, Airflow, Linux scripting, or data warehousing is a plus.
• Independent, analytical, and good communicator in a multidisciplinary team.

Within our Data & Analytics team, you will contribute to the development and management of a cloud-based data platform on Microsoft Azure. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that data is reliable, accessible, and usable for reporting, analytics, and AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Build data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lake solutions.
• Support analytics and AI applications within the data platform.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues.
• Document solutions, processes, and integrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners within agile projects.
• Contribute to the development of tools and frameworks that support data teams.

Ideal Profile

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in an IT-related field or have equivalent professional experience.
• You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Azure and modern data platforms.
• You have experience with Python, Git/GitHub, and Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience with Databricks is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of dbt, Airflow, Linux scripting, or data warehousing is considered a plus.
• You are able to work independently, take initiative, and have a strong analytical mindset.
• You communicate effectively and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
