Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Engineering & Automation department supporting CAR-T manufacturing. You will collaborate with the MAM director, project engineers and stakeholders to plan, deliver automation systems, and manage project portfolios in a regulated pharma environment.

This role emphasizes design of GxP-compliant automation, safety, and quality. You will lead planning, execution, risk monitoring, and continuous improvement across complex projects,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years in project management or as a people leader.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term planning of Engineering & Automation projects.
• Initiate projects and support engineers in applying standard principles.
• Manage projects through their lifecycle.
• Design GxP-compliant automation systems including PLCs and HMIs.
• Coordinate project activities with stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across projects.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support knowledge sharing and training for junior staff.
