Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to lead Engineering & Automation initiatives for regulated pharma equipment, reporting to the MAM department director. You’ll collaborate with project engineers and external stakeholders to deliver compliant automation systems.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to manage project portfolios, mentor junior colleagues, and participate in international projects across Orange, Sanofi, SNCF, and CMA-CGM

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years in project management or as a people leader.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
• Clear and effective communication across technical and management audiences.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan long-term Engineering & Automation projects.
• Initiate projects and support engineers using standard project principles.
• Lead projects through their lifecycle.
• Design GxP-compliant automation systems for process equipment.
• Represent projects within the MAM department and with external stakeholders.
• Coordinate project activities, priorities, risks, deliverables, and reporting.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support knowledge management and training for junior colleagues.
• Address complex technical challenges affecting priorities.
• Manage department project portfolio resources and scheduling.
• Promote safety and quality standards.
