Job summary

EMW is seeking an Engineer (Cloud and IdAM) to join on-site in Belgium. You will administer enterprise Azure and AWS environments, provide L2/L3 support for IAM and cloud issues, and ensure high availability of Active Directory and federation services.

The role requires NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance and strong English communication skills. Responsibilities include automating deployments with Terraform, scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash, monitoring cloud components, and optimizing

Qualifications

• Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance required.
• Experience with enterprise Azure environments (IaaS and PaaS).
• Experience with Azure VMs, storage, virtual networks, Load Balancers and Azure Monitor.
• Strong IAM experience with EntraID and on-prem Active Directory.
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools: CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus.
• Knowledge of enterprise Directory solutions (like DirX).
• Excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills (within past 5 years).
• Excellent communication skills to interact with users, team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and also in a team.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and motivation.

Duties & Role:

• Administer, enterprise-wide cloud environments (MS Azure, AWS)
• Provide Level 2/3 support for IdAM and/or cloud related issues, investigating and resolving operational problems in a timely manner.
• Maintain Active Directory, and provision Web Federation on premisses, ensuring high availability and performance.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance
• Experience with operating enterprise Azure environments (IaaS and PaaS services).

• Strong and hands‑on experience with Identity Access management (like EntraID on Cloud and Active Directory on premisses)
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
• Knowledge of enterprise Directory solutions (like DirX).
• Must have excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years);
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with users, team members and stakeholders
