Phinest, a Belgian management consulting firm, is seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead strategic partnerships, recruit and coach consultants, and own the P&L of a dedicated unit. You will engage with CxO level executives and key decision-makers while growing strategic accounts across sectors.

Ideal candidates hold a Master in engineering or business, have 1–3 years of BUM experience, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial, autonomous mindset with strong communication in French and English (Dutch

• 1–3 years’ experience as a Business Manager.
• Ability to confidently interact with CxO level, purchasers, managers and decision makers.
• Strong intra/entrepreneurial spirit, pro-active and goal oriented.
• Autonomous with ability to identify talents.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a definite plus.

Position: Business Unit Manager

As a Business Unit Manager, you will play a key role in Phinest's growth by combining business development, people management and entrepreneurship.

Develop strategic partnerships

• Define and execute your commercial strategy in line with Phinest's ambitions.
• Build trusted relationships with executives and key decision-makers.
• Identify transformation challenges and position high-value consulting solutions.
• Develop and grow strategic accounts within sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Retail and the Public sector.
• Lead negotiations and close long-term consulting engagements.

Build and develop your team

• Recruit talented consultants who share our values.
• Support their professional development through regular coaching and career follow-up.
• Foster engagement, performance and long‑term growth.

Drive your business

• Manage your own business unit with full ownership.
• Monitor and develop its financial performance.
• Collaborate closely with the different entities of the d²X Group to create new opportunities and synergies.

Skills and Qualifications:

· You hold a Master degree in engineering or business

· You have between 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Business Manager

· You have the ability to confidently interact with CxO level, purchasers, managers, decision makers

· You have a strong intra/entrepreneurial spirit, pro-active and goal oriented

· You are able to identify talents and to work autonomously

· You have excellent listening and communication skills

· You are fluent in French and English, Dutch is a definite plus
