Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks an experienced Freelance Project Manager for a major data centre construction programme in the Brussels region. Start ASAP on a 12-month contract with strong extension potential and full accommodation + travel coverage.

You will oversee delivery from construction through handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams on site, managing schedules, risks and stakeholder input while ensuring HSE compliance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale construction or industrial projects.
• Previous experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities, pharmaceutical, energy or large infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Eligibility to work within the EU.

Responsibilities

• Overall project delivery, ensuring programme, budget and quality objectives are achieved.
• Manage multidisciplinary construction and engineering teams on site.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and client stakeholders.
• Drive project schedules, risk management and reporting activities.
• Lead project meetings and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
