The Standard, Brussels seeks an Events Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution of a range of events, including photoshoots, activations, afterworks and private functions, across multiple venues and formats.

You will liaise with internal teams and clients to ensure timelines, logistics, budgeting, site inspections, and guest experiences are delivered to the highest standard, while growing in a dynamic hospitality environment and building strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and French is required; Dutch is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills and a proactive attitude toward managing tasks and priorities.
• Willingness to understand the Brussels hotel and events market and stay up to date with industry trends.

Responsabilités

• Support the Events Manager in planning, organizing, and executing confirmed events, including logistics, timelines, client communication, and internal coordination.
• Independently coordinate smaller-scale events, such as photoshoots, marketing activations, afterworks, and private functions.
• Take on increased responsibility for selected larger events by supporting client communication, contracting, logistics, and event execution.
• Act as a point of contact for clients regarding routine updates, site inspections, and general enquiries, escalating complex matters when required.
• Maintain organized records of proposals, contracts, and event documentation in the CRM system, Envision.
• Assist in developing creative event concepts and brand activations that enhance guest engagement and support revenue generation.
