Altia is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse & BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouses, data platforms and BI solutions within an international environment. You will contribute to data architecture, data engineering and governance across cloud, on-premise and hybrid setups in a European institutional context.

Stack includes Oracle RDBMS, data warehousing, BI tools and ETL/ELT processes, with PM² and Agile@EC methodologies.

We are looking for a Senior Data Warehouse & BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW), data platforms, and Business Intelligence solutions within an international environment.

The project

You will contribute to data architecture, data engineering, and Business Intelligence activities within an international project supporting European institutions and agencies, ensuring the availability, quality, security, and effective exploitation of enterprise data. Data Architecture & Warehousing: Design and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions, data lakes and lakehouses using dimensional modelling approaches, including star and snowflake schemas, across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. ETL/ELT & Data Integration: Design and implement end-to-end data integration and transformation processes using commercial and open-source tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and Python-based solutions. BI & Data Governance: Develop reporting, dashboards, and self-service BI solutions while contributing to data quality, observability, governance, security, and performance optimisation. Functional & Technical Support: Analyse business requirements, support API-based integrations, contribute to AI-related services and processes, and provide technical support for data and IT environments. European Institutional Context: Contribute to data solutions supporting processes related to the management, monitoring, audit, and control of European programmes and funds.

Data Warehousing & Databases: Oracle RDBMS, Data Warehouses, Data Modelling, SQL. Business Intelligence: Business Objects, Qlik Sense, dashboards, reporting, advanced analytics. Data Engineering: ETL/ELT processes, data integration, data pipelines and data optimisation. Methodologies & Tools: PM², Agile@EC, Jira.
