ALTIA is seeking a Data Scientist to join an innovative international project focused on analyzing and structuring data for the bioeconomy and the European agricultural sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment to drive data-driven insights.

Required: Master’s degree (EQF 7), 5+ years in IT, MuSIASEM experience, 12+ months Python and web tech (HTML5/CSS3/SASS/JS with D3.js), Power BI & DAX, and English at C1/C2.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent (EQF Level 7).
• At least 5 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 12 months in Python.
• Minimum 12 months in web programming (HTML5/CSS3/SASS/JavaScript/ECMAScript 6 with D3.js).
• Minimum 6 months with Adobe Suite components (InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator).
• Strong knowledge of EU agricultural data, ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and BI (Power BI/DAX).
• English at C1/C2 level.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a Data Scientist with solid experience in multicultural and cross-functional environments.

You will join an innovative international project with an international organization, taking part in the analysis and structuring of data relating to the bioeconomy and the European agricultural sector.

Must-haves for this challenge:

• A university degree at EQF Level 7 (Master's degree or equivalent).
• At least 5 years' professional experience in IT.
• At least 36 months' experience with the Multi-Scale Integrated Analysis of Societal and Ecosystem Metabolism (MuSIASEM) approach for quantitative assessments.
• At least 12 months' experience with Python.
• At least 12 months' experience with web programming tools, including HTML5, CSS3, SASS and JavaScript/ECMAScript 6 with D3.js.
• At least 6 months' experience with at least one component of the Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign, Acrobat or Illustrator.
• In-depth knowledge of datasets relating to the European agricultural sector.
• In-depth knowledge of data analysis and ETL pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehouse architecture and dimensional modelling.
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI and DAX.
• English C1/C2 level.
