Altia is seeking a Data Analyst / BI Engineer with a strong technical background in data modelling, visualisation, data engineering, and transformation to deliver analytical solutions and BI reporting in modern cloud environments.

You will contribute to Data & Analytics activities on an international project supporting European institutions, focusing on data centralisation, transformation, modelling, and advanced data exploitation for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience with data modelling and BI reporting.
• Proficient in SQL and BI toolsets for dashboards.
• Familiar with ETL/ELT and data orchestration.
• Understanding of data governance and quality practices.

Responsabilités

• Data Architecture & Modelling: design dimensional models (star/snowflake) on cloud platforms.
• Data Integration & Transformation: build ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources.
• Data Governance & Quality: support data quality, cataloguing, lineage.
• BI & Reporting: develop dashboards and reports across data sources.
• Advanced Analytics: apply statistical methods and basic predictive techniques.

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Engineer with a strong technical background across data modelling, visualisation, data engineering, and transformation, capable of developing analytical solutions and BI reporting in modern cloud environments.

The project

You will contribute to Data & Analytics activities within an international project supporting European institutions and agencies, working on the centralisation, transformation, modelling, and advanced exploitation of large volumes of data to support informed decision-making.

• Data Architecture & Modelling: Design and maintain dimensional data models, including star and snowflake schemas, across modern cloud data platforms.
• Data Integration & Transformation: Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration processes, integrating data from multiple corporate and external sources.
• Data Governance & Quality: Support data quality, validation, reconciliation, cataloguing, and lineage activities to ensure reliable and traceable information.
• BI & Reporting: Develop advanced dashboards and analytical reports using leading Business Intelligence platforms, combining multiple data sources and analytical techniques.
• Advanced Analytics: Apply statistical methods and basic predictive techniques, including regression, clustering, and classification, to corporate and external datasets.

• BI & Visualisation: Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, advanced dashboards and reporting.
• Cloud & Data Warehousing: Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, dimensional modelling, star and snowflake schemas.
