Are you ready to become a key player in our BI & analytics landscape? Look no further and join our BI team as a Data & Solution Architect. In this role, you’ll translate requirements into technical blueprints, lead implementation and ensure operational reliability. In close collaboration with the BI developers, you develop robust, secure and scalable solutions and provide business-critical data to all DPD teams.

What will you do in this role?

You design, build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform and load data into enterprise platforms (e.g. Snowflake, SQL Server).

To support analytics, reporting and operational needs, you develop and optimize data models.

You ensure accuracy and reliability by implementing data quality controls, validation processes and monitoring.

You manage data integration with API’s, cloud services and third-party systems and support migration and modernization of legacy data systems to cloud-based architectures.

All your efforts lead to a robust dataset, the perfect base for our BI developers to design, develop and maintain dashboards, reports and self-service BI-tools (e.g. tableau).

Keeping up with emerging cloud, data, analytics and application technologies is essential.

You actively look for innovative solutions and opportunities to improve performance, maintainability and scalability.

You are also involved in the design and evaluation of the architecture of enterprise solutions, focusing on the data flows, data warehouses, reporting platforms and integrations.

You define technical standards, which meet the requirements for performance, scalability, maintainability, security and availability.

You ensure a smooth integration between enterprise systems, microservices and analytics platforms.

Of course everything you do meets the required standards of compliancy, data quality and security.

What do we expect from you?

You combine a degree in computer science, data engineering and information systems with over 5 years in a similar role (focused on software engineering and/or BI platform design) and an agile working environment.

You love to deep dive in the complexity of details and rules in all the different processes within DPD.

You are an analytical and have a solution-oriented mindset.

Strong communication skills and team player mentality are essential to be successful in this function.

You thrive under pressure.

Your proactivity and eagerness to learn define you.

Fluency in English is a must. Additional knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a strong asset.
