Sompo is seeking a VP, Head of Claims for Belgium and the Netherlands (BeNe) to lead the BeNe Claims Department from Rotterdam or Brussels. The role reports to the Country Manager Insurance BeNe and the Head of Claims Continental Europe, focusing on delivering high-quality claims service and scalability as the business grows.

You will oversee settlements, reserves, risk management, and performance metrics while partnering with executives and brokers to ensure superior client outcomes across BeNe.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level; legal qualification desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead negotiations on claims settlements and establish reserves.
• Ensure adherence to governance standards and risk management; follow the Insurance Claims Handling Manual.
• Monitor KPIs and manage outsourced claims handling processes.
