Puratos Belgium is seeking an Expert Test Baker to drive baking trials, generate reliable data, and translate observations into actionable recommendations for R&D and business stakeholders.

You will plan tests, manage reports, and collaborate with Application Specialists to develop and optimize baking protocols across locations. Fluency in English is required; a baker's degree or equivalent bakery experience is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have a baker's degree or equivalent bakery experience (minimum 8 years).
• Strong hands-on bakery expertise with knowledge of baking technologies, ingredient functionality and texture measurements.
• Able to work autonomously, manage priorities and adapt quickly to changing plans and urgent requests.

Responsabilités

• Plan and manage baking tests autonomously, ensuring accurate execution and timely delivery and create high quality baking reports within the given deadlines.
• Generate reliable data and translate test results into valuable insights and recommendations for R&D teams and business stakeholders.
• Develop and share technical expertise in baking technologies, ingredients, and evaluation methods.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives and help develop new baking protocols and optimize existing procedures with Application Specialists and Technical Advisors.
