Brussels Airlines SA/NV is seeking an Operational Procurement Manager to oversee aircraft parts, materials, tools and consumables for maintenance, leading a team of about 8 FTE and representing the Lufthansa Group in procurement topics.

You will coordinate with engineering, planning and inventory management, drive digitisation and KPI monitoring, and manage supplier selection and negotiations to ensure timely orders and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in aviation maintenance.
• Proven leadership and strong people management capabilities.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, airworthiness regulations, aviation suppliers and the MRO market.
• Supplier management, negotiation and performance monitoring experience.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
• Solution-oriented, hands-on and accountable mindset.
• Proficient in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee operational procurement of aircraft parts, materials, tools and consumables for maintenance operations
• Lead a team of around 8 FTE
• Ensure timely purchase and repair orders, including AOG support and alternative supplier sourcing
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, maintenance and inventory management on material needs and stock levels
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations and repair events for non-contracted repair and overhaul activities
• Monitor critical shipments and major component movements
• Maintain the approved vendor list and ensure regulatory compliance
• Drive process optimisation, digitisation, automation and KPI monitoring
