Brussels Airlines is seeking a Warehousing & Logistics Manager in Machelen to lead end-to-end logistics for aircraft parts and tooling, while ensuring compliance and operational readiness across warehouses and global freight flows.

You will manage a team of about 20 FTE, coordinate with customs and regulators, and drive audits and continuous improvement in aviation logistics.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French a plus.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading warehousing, logistics and customs operations.
• AOG and time-critical shipments experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with aviation maintenance or aerospace logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of cost accounting and financial impact.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with ownership and integrity.

The Warehousing & Logistics Manager ensures availability, compliance and movement of aircraft parts and tooling to support uninterrupted maintenance operations, leading warehousing, logistics, customs and dangerous goods activities within an aviation environment.

Tasks

• Manage the end-to-end logistics lifecycle for aircraft parts and tooling
• Lead warehouse and inventory operations across multiple storage locations
• Ensure stock accuracy, traceability and operational readiness
• Oversee global freight flows, including time-critical AOG shipments
• Manage logistics providers, contracts and transport performance
• Ensure compliance with customs, export control and dangerous goods regulations
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and liaise with authorities
• Lead regulatory audits (EASA/FAA/IATA) and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage and develop a team of approximately 20 FTE
• Ensure AOG support outside office hours

Requirements

• Bachelor in Industrial or Civil Engineering and/or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain, ideally within aviation maintenance
• Proven leadership experience in an operational environment
• Strong knowledge of logistics, airworthiness and regulatory compliance
• Experience with Dangerous Goods and customs regulations
• Understanding of cost accounting and financial impact
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus
• AMOS or ERP system knowledge
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with high ownership and integrity
