Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is seeking an Operations Manager to lead LEAP Engine Shop Visit and Repair activities at Brussels Airport. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations while achieving quality, cost and delivery targets.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production Support, drive capacity balance, and mentor the LSO Operations team. The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach in a regulated aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Extensive experience in an operational leadership role within industrial, manufacturing or aerospace environments.
• Experience in aviation MRO or regulated industries is a strong asset.
• Strong leadership, people management and ability to motivate teams.
• Strategic thinking with hands-on operational approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a strong asset.
• Legally authorized to work in Belgium (EU passport or valid permit).

Responsibilities

• Lead LEAP Engine Shop Visit and Repair activities.

• Coordinate activities with Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Support and Production Support teams.
• Drive load-capacity balance and support production planning.
• Lead, coach and develop the LSO Operations team.
• Foster accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Promote Safran Together leadership principles.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, aviation regulations and Safran standards.
• Drive process improvements and operational excellence with Lean teams.
