Brussels Airlines is seeking an Operational Procurement Manager in Machelen to oversee aircraft parts, materials and tools for maintenance, ensuring compliance and on-time delivery while leading a team of about 8 FTE.

You will coordinate with engineering, planning and inventory, manage supplier selection and negotiations, monitor shipments, and drive digitisation, process improvements and KPI tracking in a dynamic aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management, aviation preferred.
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, airworthiness regulations, aviation suppliers and the MRO market.
• Supplier management, negotiation and performance monitoring experience.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
• Solution-oriented, hands-on and accountable mindset.
• Proficient in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus.

• Maintain the approved vendor list and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive process optimisation, digitisation, automation and KPI monitoring.

Tasks

As Operational Procurement Manager, you ensure aircraft materials and components are available, compliant and moving on time, leading a team of around 8 FTE and representing Brussels Airlines in Lufthansa Group operational procurement topics.

Requirements

• Proven leadership and strong people management capabilities
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, airworthiness regulations, aviation suppliers and the MRO market

• Strong analytical, organisational, communication and negotiation skills
• Solution-oriented, hands‑on and accountable mindset
