Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking an experienced systems engineer to join our rail/transport division in Belgium. You will analyze project needs, assess technical risks, and define formal modelling and requirements to guide development of future autonomous trains.

You will work with RAM, Safety, Cyber, software, hardware and V&V teams to develop design concepts and ensure alignment with European interoperability standards for cutting-edge rail solutions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and relevant fields; advanced modelling capabilities.
• Experience with UML/SADT/SysML using ASAP or Arcadia (Capella).
• Background in safety systems (automotive, aerospace, railways).
• Knowledge of rail signaling (ERTMS/CBTC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree (BAC +5) in Aerospace, Software, Electronics, Automation, Electricity or Robotics, Computer sciences (Machine learning, Artificial intelligence).
• Experienced in (UML, SADT, SysML) modelling by using ASAP (Advanced System Architecture Program) methodology with PTC IM tool or ARCADIA methodology (with CAPELLA tool), Matlab /Simulink
• Experienced in requirement management (specification, interfaces, architecture, traceability) - Background in safety systems (e.g. automotive, aerospace, railways...)
• Interest in system design or system engineering - Knowledge of railways signaling systems (ERTMS ideally, CBTC…)

Desired Skills

• A good command of French and English are mandatory.
