Job summary

Expleo Group in Belgium is seeking a senior RAMS specialist to lead safety studies for complex products and systems. You will conduct RAMS analyses (PHA, SHA, FMECA, HAZOP, FTA) and draft safety cases, coordinating cross‑functional teams and coaching colleagues.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Engineering or related field, 7+ years RAMS experience, strong English writing skills, and knowledge of EN50129/ EN50126. French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Sciences.
• 7+ years of RAMS experience (PHA, SHA, FMECA, HAZOP, FTA, safety case, etc.).
• Ability to write clear requirements in English (safety, RAM, functional).
• Experience with EN50129 / EN50126 / CSM standards.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 or equivalent quality systems.
• Proven ability to run a team and manage projects.
• Knowledge of EN50128, model-based system engineering, and formal methods is a plus.

• Familiarity with ISO9001 or equivalent quality systems.
• Proven ability to run a team and manage projects.
• Experience with EN50128, model-based system engineering, and formal methods is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in field testing (locomotive certification, tests, etc.).
• Deep interest in green mobility, transportation, and railway.
• Positive attitude with the ability to assert safety requirements when necessary.
• Openness to team members' ideas and ability to adapt based on team input.
• Fluency in English with strong written communication skills. Good knowledge of French is a major plus, and knowledge of other European languages is beneficial
