Job summary

SEC Newgate EU is a Brussels-based advocacy and communications consultancy seeking an Association Management Account Executive to join our Brussels team. The role supports governance, membership, projects, communications, events and day-to-day delivery for client associations.

We seek a professional with 2–3 years of relevant experience who can own defined workstreams, manage competing priorities and build trusted relationships with members, volunteer leaders and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in association management, membership services, NGO, consultancy, events, or project management.
• Demonstrable experience coordinating multiple workstreams, stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience preparing governance materials, minutes and action follow-ups.
• Strong written and spoken English; client-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day contact for association members, Board and committees.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and action follow-ups.
• Translate priorities into clear workplans, timelines and deliverables.
• Maintain governance records and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Monitor budgets and deliver high-quality client service.
