Job summary

Amaris Consulting, part of Mantu, seeks an Associate Scientist to provide analytical support for new molecular entities from Phase 1 through registration, focusing on Reference Standard characterization, method development, validation, release, and stability testing, primarily using LC.

You will develop LC/IC/GC methods, evaluate data, and communicate findings to stakeholders, using Empower/OpenLab, while ensuring GMP compliance and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Hands-on LC experience; knowledge of IC and/or GC.
• Experience with chromatography data systems Empower or OpenLab.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulated lab environments.
• Willingness to develop water determination and titration skills.
• Fluent in English; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage priorities effectively, take ownership of experimental work, and contribute independently and collaboratively to project activities.

As an Associate Scientist, you’ll provide analytical support for new molecular entities, including small molecules and new modalities such as therapeutic peptides, conjugates, and oligonucleotides. You’ll contribute to projects from clinical Phase 1 through registration, with a focus on Reference Standard characterization, analytical method development, validation, release, and stability testing.

Your missions

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field, or a bachelor’s degree with relevant laboratory experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with liquid chromatography, and practical knowledge of ion chromatography and/or gas chromatography.
• Experience with chromatography data systems, preferably Empower and/or OpenLab.
• General knowledge of cGMP requirements and regulated laboratory environments.
• Experience with, or willingness to develop expertise in, techniques such as water determination and titrations.
• High standards for experimental quality, data reliability, and accountability for results.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute positively to a team.
