Barouche in Hasselt is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead an amazing team, create unforgettable guest experiences and help shape our growing Mediterranean fast-casual concept. You’ll guide daily operations and guest service with energy and a hands‑on leadership style.

You’ll oversee stock, scheduling, costs and performance while recruiting and developing a motivated team; maintain hygiene and food quality and collaborate closely with the Restaurant Manager to drive success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality and familiarity with fast-casual or growing chain environments.
• Ambition to grow into a Restaurant Manager role.
• Natural host with a warm and welcoming presence.
• Energetic, structured and leadership-driven with an eye for detail.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and motivate your team, both on the floor and behind the scenes.
• Share responsibility for the restaurant’s performance and the guest experience.
• Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently; manage stock and scheduling.
• Recruit, train and develop a motivated, customer-first team; uphold hygiene, safety and food quality.
• Handle feedback and complaints professionally, in a calm and guest-oriented way.
• Work closely with the current Restaurant Manager.
