Motel One Germany BetriebsGmbH in Brussels is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support guest and team well-being while coordinating housekeeping operations and upholding Motel One’s high standards of cleanliness.

You will lead onboarding and coaching, drive cross-training, and work with multicultural teams to deliver a consistently excellent guest experience across our hotels.

Qualifications

• Training in the hotel industry or professional experience in the hotel, restaurant, or retail sectors.
• Passion for developing employees—ideally with leadership exposure.
• Strong focus on quality and service with hospitality skills.
• Open, communicative demeanor with strong French and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage ordering and deliveries within the Housekeeping department.
• Collaborate with internal and external cleaning staff.
• Ensure and implement Motel One’s housekeeping standards and cleanliness.
• Lead internal coaching, cross-training, and onboarding of new staff.
• Collaborate across departments to gain cross-functional insights in a multicultural team.

Job Description

Your Focus: The well-being of guests and employees. You will assist with the coordination and management of the Housekeeping department.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Sharing responsibility for ordering and deliveries within the Housekeeping department
• Collaborating with internal and external cleaning staff
• Ensuring and implementing Motel One’s housekeeping standards, as well as being responsible for cleanliness in all areas
• Sharing responsibility for conducting internal coaching sessions, cross-training, and onboarding new housekeeping employees
• Gaining cross-departmental insights into new areas of work through collaboration in our multicultural teams
