Job summary

Daikin Europe in Brussels is looking for an Area Sales Responsible to develop business with our distributor network. You will master operational support and grow into the market expert, defining and executing mid- and long-term commercial strategies.

You will build strong partnerships, plan pricing and marketing, support events and launches, and monitor results against the budget. Willingness to travel up to 25% is required; English is essential and other European languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master in Economics or Commercial Engineering; first professional experience in a similar function.
• Independent worker with initiative, pro-active and ready to grasp new opportunities.
• English is mandatory; other European languages are a plus.
• Analytical mindset with strong commercial attitude and interest in HVAC-R products.

Responsibilities

• Develop the business together with our network of distributors.
• Master operational support and grow into the expert of your market.
• Define and execute mid and long term commercial strategies.
• Establish a strong partnership with distributors.
• Plan and implement commercial strategies and action plans (sales route, pricing, marketing).
• Support distributors locally in dealer events, exhibitions and product launches.
• Follow-up results vs budget and monitor market demand, payments and quality.
• Travel – up to 25% of your time.
